- The "Find Node" dialog allows the user to search for

- any given Ethernet node address in the collected Ethernet

- data. The node address must be typed either as a hexadecimal
-
- number or as a name preceded by an '=' sign. The
-
- name must appear in the Ethernet Address Map (filled
-
- in using the "Address Map…" menu item under the "Options" menu.

- To repeatedly search for a node, use the "Find Node…"
-
- menu item to define a node, then use the "Find Again"
-
- menu item.

- When a packet is found that contains the node address in

- its Ethernet header, the packet is printed in the Ethernet

- data window. The node address is NOT highlighted in the
-
- decoded packet.

- The user may start a node search from the beginning of

- the Ethernet data by defining a new node address. The

- user may start the search from any given packet by using

- the "Goto…" button in the Ethernet Headers window, by

- double clicking one of the packet headers in the Ethernet

- Headers window, or by highlighting a packet header and

- clicking on the "Examine" button in the Ethernet Headers

- window.
